Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am mother of three who had three very different birth experiences. In a hospital with a doctor and an epidural and naturally with a midwife in a birth centre. I have breastfed all three of my own babies and I have bottle fed all three of my babies as well. In my professional previous career I displayed a high degree of professionalism and proved my ability to foster strong working relationships with stakeholders. I have always proven I am passionate about my work!
What led you to become a Doula?: I love all things birth and babies! The turning point for me was being beside one of my best friends for the birth of her premature baby girl. I knew I wanted to make a career change and this incredible experience was the push I needed.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I am always quick to offer help, no matter what. I am incredibly loyal, always investing in relationships. Reliability and commitment, I always see things through. I am open to listening to opinions/advice, and find it easy to see things from others’ perspectives. I have an amazing positive outlook on life.
