Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Postpartum Support International - 2 Day Certificate training - learning resources and supporting mothers with Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders.

What led you to become a Doula?: My passion for women's health and working with women began during my first pregnancy. I was surrounded by so many supportive and passionate women; my midwife, friends, my La Leche League leader. Family education and non-judgmental support are key to doula care. To me as a doula and a health coach I know mothers and families need a listening ear, a gentle touch, the most up-to-date research-based information so that they can navigate their pregnancy and birth experiences.
