Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Although I have been a Radiologic Technologist for the past twenty-years, my true passion has always been to become a birth doula. This dream was first realized when I gave birth to my first son. In the hours leading up to his birth, I was blessed to have had a guiding hand. The person who was by my side encouraged, calmed and motivated me. That in turn gave me confidence in my body and in my abilities, and it was in those moments that I felt truly validated and empowered. It was only through the births of my second and third sons that I realized how truly imperative it is to have that support and guidance, as their births were vastly different without it.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
Many people say that I’m strong but sensitive, and I agree with that. I’m really a huge nurturer and have always been someone that likes to get to the bottom of things and find solutions to problems.
