Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a mother of 3. I know not everyone has the support that really looks out for them and not push their own agenda. As your doula I get it and will hold your hand and heart in mind.

What led you to become a Doula?: I've loved birth since I was a teenager. My first live birth was my mother bringing my sister into this world. Later in life I was the one my family and friends called asking questions, going into labor or needed some assistance after. Then when it came time for me to have my own children birth was what excited me the most! A few years ago, I sat with myself to tune into what I wanted for my life career wise. Once I actually learned what a doula was, I found it. I kept letting life get in the way of going for my training then the door closed on office job and opened the door on my forever doula life.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

I’ve been told my presence is very calming and what was needed in their space.
