Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My experience being a single mom at a young age allows me a unique perspective into the importance of having a doula. I understand how vital it is to have a solid supportive team during this transition into parenthood.
What led you to become a Doula?: I've been interested in birth work since I was in high school. I planned on doing doula work while I was in school to become a neonatologist. My plans changed and I realized that I wanted to make a deeper more personal connection with my clients, and how important having a doula is.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
People say that I have a calming presence, and that they feel like they can open up to me about anything without being met with judgment. I also have been called dependable and hardworking.
