Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have three children, one by love and two by birth. I am an active breastfeeding peer counselor at Betty Cameron. I have been working as a postpartum doula since January 2016 and a labor doula since October 2017. I am also currently working towards sitting for the IBCLC in 2020.
What led you to become a Doula?: After the birth of my youngest child, I realized that my job as a teacher did not fill my soul. My passion rested in the beautiful experience of adding a new human life to a family. To walk that journey along-side new parents and watch them transform is amazing.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
So positive and outgoing. Gives me the confidence to get through the tough times. Loves her family and loves to have a good time.
