Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been working with Women and Children for over 15 years in many capacities. I have been a wealth of knowledge of birth, labor, and postpartum care. I am a mother of 5 beautiful girls of which there is a set of triplets.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have had a passion for birth work since I was in high school. At the time, I wanted to go to college for Physician's Assistant specializing in neonatal care. My life took a bit of a turn and I became a Social Worker instead. In my work as a Social Worker, I have worked with many pregnant women, infants and toddlers. My passion is to help foster the bond between parent and baby.

What are your favorite pregnancy/parenting resources?: The Learning Channel, PostPartum Support International, Infoline
What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: I usually get overjoyed. I have an inclination to want to help them and be of support. At times, I do provide some tips.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: The ability to feel comfortable and not judged during their parenting process.

What is your favorite place to vacation?: Puerto Rico
What is your favorite food?: Pizza
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: I usually read or go for a walk.
Who lives in your house?: My husband and our 5 beautiful daughters reside with us. Along with 2 French Bulldogs that are loved so dearly.
