Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Greetings from the Northwest Washington! My name is Emily Scott and I am a Postpartum and Infant Care Doula. In the past I have had a wide range of work experience, which only adds to my tool-belt of knowledge when working with me. Work history experience in intense and high stakes jobs, career in the wedding floral industry, customer service, management, various others, and parent of two.

What led you to become a Doula?: My heart has always been about supporting women and couples at a one-on-one level, really meeting them wherever they are. Looking back, my whole life has accumulated to doula work, though it might not have looked it at the time. I wouldn’t say I became a doula, but more it is simply apart of who I am. My goal is to meet people’s needs when it’s raw and real, to honor the sacred and extremely vulnerable time they are in, and celebrate life with them.
