Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I started in nursing school, hoping to become a labor & delivery nurse. I stumbled upon a doula job so my life path took a turn but I often find & use many things that I once learned in school when I was studying nursing that are very helpful in my doula career.
What led you to become a Doula?: Ever since I was in middle school I had wanted to become a labor & delivery nurse but as I mentioned above, my paths took a turn & I couldn't have been more excited. I whole heatedly enjoy being able to support women in their birth experience, helping them to have a positive experience all while in their home teaching them & connecting with them one on one as we grow together.
