Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a nanny for children 0-16 years old with 10+ years experience. CPR and first aid certified. I also have taken courses in child development along with obtaining my degree in the field of psychology.
What led you to become a Doula?: The saying “It takes a village…” is often refers to the care of the babies and children which is absolutely true but we hardly include care for the birthing person or their partners. When the birthing person/parents have solid non-judgmental support then they are given the space/time/opportunity to properly adapt and care for their children thus creating a positive connection and stable environment for everyone.
