Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My experiences serving families began as a young girl babysitting with my first CPR class at 13 years old. My college focus was early childhood education education. I have assisted in the births of friends, worked as a teacher in a nursery, mentored women, and become a mother myself. I have taken a course with an IBCLC to properly assist clients with breastfeeding challenges and a class for pumping. I am a trained labor doula, postpartum doula, and infant care specialist.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always had a passion for seeing parents smiling, babies laughing and comforted, and bringing the calm where there is fear. Growing your family is a huge decision and I'm here to assist families so they can feel confident in their roles!
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
Others would describe me as calm, warm, welcoming, a good listener, and “so chill”. If you knew my inner thought life, you would know the “so chill” comment is a result of working diligently on myself, and it not a natural faculty. I have heard a lot of “Thank you so much. You have helped me so much.” and they are always special to me every sing single time.

What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: I hope they are feeling fully supported and special.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: The best gift I can give new parents is calm, support, and confidence.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: Currently Outlander
What is your favorite place to vacation?: 30A on the Florida panhandle
What is your favorite food?: Thai, Indian, fresh seafood
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: My favorite way to spend a day off would be to grab a green juice, then hike through the woods, breathing in fresh air, and seeing the beauty of this world. Or biking around the lake is a nice day, too.
Who lives in your house?: I live with my loving partner Adam, and our 3 children (ages 12, 3 years old and almost 1 year old).
