Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a senior in college currently in my final semester for my BA in Psychology. I know that birth is just as much of a psychological experience as it is physical, and I am confident I have the knowledge, tools and skills to support mothers throughout all aspects of birth: the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. My birth and postpartum support is grounded in a holistic framework. I am additionally trained in Ayurvedic cooking, mother roasting, rebozo techniques, herbalism, and reiki and my care is centered around well being, recovery and healing of the mother.

What led you to become a Doula?: The birth of my first son, Nash, which was deeply transformative and set me on fire with passion for supporting mothers throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

After performing a sealing ceremony from a local mother, this was a beautiful testimonial she shared
“In receiving The Sacred Tuck Ritual by Kearstin Morgan, I was both honored and blessed by her loving touch and nurturing presence. Together we closed the birth portal that was opened to bring my daughter into the world. By creating a space to honor this time, I feel more grounded and in touch with the mother I am becoming. It was also a beautiful way to show gratitude to my body for its service of carrying new life for 10 months and then giving birth…If you are pregnant and would like support before, during, or after birth I would recommend Kearstin to anyone wanting a kind and gentle presence of support.”
