Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I've worked with children of all ages, including infants, in various settings for years. I built relationships with parents and learned about some of their personal struggles, including struggles relating to pregnancy and the postpartum period.

What led you to become a Doula?: I have many friends and family members who have given birth, and almost all of them wished they had better support and a better experience overall. I knew they deserved better, and I wanted to help. I wanted to support people during and after pregnancy, and help them feel empowered in their most vulnerable moments. Being a doula is the best way I can provide non-judgmental support along with evidence-based information.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

I am often told that I have a calming presence, which helps make people comfortable, and that I am caring and patient.
