Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been helping parents on the job and in my personal life for years. I have been the go to person for everything pregnancy and baby.

What led you to become a Doula?: I had my own struggles with trying to conceive, pregnancy, nursing, birth, and the postpartum period and I had a less than desirable first birth. I hired my doula for my second birth and that experience was dramatically different, for the better. She was not local to my area but was willing to travel. It was then that I realized that my area has an unmet need for women in this stage of life. My goal is to fill that need.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

Lisa is a kind, generous, nonjudgmental, knowledgeable person who is always willing to help a person in need.
