What led you to become a Doula?: I was the first of her circle of friends to have children. I learned about doula support after my fourth birth that left me uninformed and in the dark, suffering with the after effects of birth trauma, and postpartum depression. It was this new knowledge that inspired me to become a doula in order to be the support for birthing parents who might otherwise find themselves where I did.
