Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am just getting started in this new career and I couldn’t be more excited. I am a people person and do everything in my power to help others. I have spent many of my years being a nanny for families and taking on the responsibility of caring for their children. I currently volunteer in the NICU at my local hospital. Getting to hold those tiny babies every week has truly been a blessing. I have also been a Certified Nursing Assistant for almost three years. I have a very positive attitude that encourages people to get through hard times.
What led you to become a Doula?: For as long as I can remember I have always known my calling was to be working in the delivery room. I have an extreme desire and love to work with babies and the parents. I absolutely love caring for people and couldn’t be any more excited to fulfill my dreams by supporting the birthing mother and family through this exciting time in their lives.
