Dana found herself drawn to all things pregnancy and birth in 2014 after the birth of her first child. A few years later, she decided to make it official and certify with ProDoula to kickstart her career as a labor doula. Dana has always had an entrepreneurial heart when it comes to following her dreams. Training with ProDoula and learning how to make a living wage while following her passion was one of the best decisions she ever made. She is the owner of a Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia based agency, Embrace Doulas.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Dana is currently raising a family of her own in the same town where she grew up. Her 3 young sons keep her and her husband very busy, but she recognizes that these are the days she’ll look fondly back on. Dana has a deep love for her community, so it was no surprise when shortly after becoming a doula, the Facebook group South Jersey Moms Connect was born. She utilized her wisdom as a mother and a doula to create a platform for local families to connect, support each other, and ultimately have a place to turn when life as a parent feels overwhelming. Seen as a leader in her local community, Dana has impacted so many families through creating this space to build genuine connections with nonjudgmental support.

Mother, doula, childbirth educator, agency owner, community leader… all things led Dana to join the ProDoula Training and Development Team. She has a desire to pour into aspiring doulas with enthusiasm, a lot of heart, and the spectacular ProDoula labor doula training curriculum!
