Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: For the past 5 years, I have been leading breastfeeding support groups for moms and babies, making home visits, and working with mothers along their journeys of parenthood. For the past 2 years, I have been helping mothers to nurture themselves postpartum by providing placenta encapsulation services.
What led you to become a Doula?: Giving birth to my daughters taught me how transformative the birth experience is in the life of a woman. Now I want to support women in having the birth experience that they want. I believe every woman should feel supported and safe during and after her birth experience.

What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: Wow, having children changes your life like nothing else can. I wish for any pregnant or new mom inner strength, trust in her intuition and confidence. I hope that she has the support that she needs.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: My calm presence and non-judgmental support.

What is your favorite place to vacation?: Camping in the woods and mountains of New England.
What is your favorite food?: Mexican Food
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Reading, going for a walk alone, enjoying the outdoors with my kids, or exploring a new place.
Who lives in your house?: My lovely husband and two daughters.
